While many guests were still getting settled after a long day of traveling, others continued to rage until morning as the hotel towers transformed into one hell of an afterparty. Starting on Friday, the HomeBass kick-off party featured a steady lineup of heart-pumping house music as Holly Woods, Gawp, and Noizu turned a hotel banquet hall into an all-out rave before What So Not closed out the night from 1:30AM to 3AM adding a heavy touch of bass to a crowd that was desperate to shuffle the night away. HomeBass made sure to supply their guests with more than enough artists to keep the party going each day and certainly kept things going well into the night. Starting with the most important aspect of the weekend, the music was 100% on point. That being said, the event did have its fair share of challenges over the course of the weekend but was able to persevere with the help of their outstanding staff and the undying enthusiasm of its fans.

The hotel rooms were nicer, the pool area was more expansive, and there was much more space within the convention center for everyone to dance, relax, and enjoy the party. Located at the heart of International Drive, the Avanti Palms Resort was a significant step up in quality from the Grand Orlando Resort where HomeBass held its inaugural event during EDC Orlando back in November. The second edition of the resort-takeover event absolutely delivered on its promise of sun, fun, and dancing last week as EDM fans from all over flocked to the Avanti Palms Resort and Convention Center.
If you thought a little rain was going to stop HomeBass Orlando from partying, then think again. So here’s to 2017, let’s get down to the Nitti Gritti.Photo Taken by Taylor Regulski for Festival Squad 2017 is already shaping up to be a big year for him, as he has a Main Stage performance at Life In Color Wynwood, and an arsenal of new music to debut. Nitti Gritti followed up his debut performance by playing the official Corona Electric Beach party w/ Matoma during Art Basel. Bringing forth his raw musical talent as well as his remarkable skills in music production, Nitti Gritti highlights his creative talent through his video releases, his most recent being his insane drum cover of some of his most well-known tracks.Taking his wild success and continued support from even larger artists like Tchami and Dillon Francis, Nitti Gritti had his debut performance at Miami’s largest Halloween event, Wynwood Fear Factory, followed by headlining the official after party alongside Adventure Club at one of Miami’s most prestigious nightclubs, Space. Six months and eleven releases later Nitti Gritti has captivated millions of listeners with his remakes of popular tracks such as “Gud Vibrations” and “Marching On”, but truly won over an enormous following with his original track “Dirty Dancing”. A name that’s pushed the boundaries of bass music, supported by A list artists by the likes of Jauz, Slander, and NGHTMRE, has sprung among the dance music community, and it’s Nitti Gritti.
